Our Story
Honoring Our Inspiration: Mrs. Edith P. Wright - A Life That Inspires, A Mission That Endures
Mrs. Edith P. Wright was an extraordinary wife and the devoted mother of four, whose life continues to inspire hope, compassion, and purpose. Affectionately known as Eydie, she is cherished for her artistic spirit, generous heart, and a voice often described as angelic—one that brought comfort, joy, and light to all who knew her.
At the age of 39, Mrs. Wright passed away following her courageous journey with breast cancer. Though her time on earth was far too short, her impact has proven immeasurable. More than two decades ago, her children transformed their love and her enduring values into action by creating a foundation in her honor—one dedicated to providing support services to families facing breast cancer.
Today, Mrs. Wright’s legacy is a living one. Her spirit, grace, and strength are reflected in every program and outreach of the foundation, Building a Bridge to a Stronger Tomorrow for families navigating the challenges of breast cancer. Through this work, Eydie’s light continues to shine—offering dignity, compassion, and hope when it is needed most.

Our Mission
& Vision
To provide education, outreach, and resources that empower individuals and families affected by breast cancer, while raising awareness in communities disproportionately impacted by the disease.
We envision communities, where families
affected by breast cancer are fully supported—emotionally, financially, and holistically—so they can focus on healing, not survival.
